Location and PITIFUL MATH CONCLUSIONS.


  1. Location- location of one place relative to another


  • helps find an unfamiliar place by comparing its location w/ a familiar one
  • helps understanding the importance of a location
    • ex. some places more important bc. are accessible to other places bc. of their location
  • you can use landmarks, streets, and buildings
  • Singapore- center of trading and distributing goods for much of southeast Asia
  • less expensive to build products over seize then in america bc. employees are payed less
    • ex. in China factory employees get payed 300 dollars a month and no sick days or they get fired

Today we listen to a educational parody about Rome. It was really funny and not what i had expected. I had just woken up when i listened to it and i did not know my volume was up so the song defiantly gave me a wake up call. I started laughing and ended up spitting out my water. I am not certain you were on the recording but it sounded like you on a lot of parts. I can completely imagine this playing in class like the Euphrates/Egypt song.

Greek Architecture

This is the temple of Hera the Greek goddess of marriage and queen of the gods in Olympia . It was built in 590 and is believed to have been built with wood and replaced with stone later. The temple has 16 columns and  was destroyed by an earthquake in the fourth century.  This is a sculpture of Athene in the Parthenon. You can tell it is her by her shield with a snake on it and an owl at her side. She is the patron Goddess of Athens and the Parthenon was partially built to honor her. It was mainly built to establish Athenians and Greeks s great architects and built them a reputation for that  during the beautification of Athens.
