Test day

        Today we took a test on everything we had learned so far (Message to Garcia, arete). It was very easy because i had studied for three days. It was everything we learned, and i am pretty sure we guessed all the big ticket items the day prior. I got to go on a rant about how Socrates was angering the gods, and named a few of them. I was way to passionate about putting a great philosopher to death. I wrote one paragraph in cursive but by the end of that i just resorted to print because in got to lazy and knew a lot o things would come to my mind way before i could write them down in cursive. That test was great, it was very easy and completely fair and on everything he had told us it would be on. I was skeptical and though he might be tricking us yesterday but he was not. I was very relieved after i was done with this test because i had three test today and think i got in the 90s on all of them, but i might be wrong. Thank you for the bonus question Mr. Schick that was awesome too. Bye.

Today we listen to a educational parody about Rome. It was really funny and not what i had expected. I had just woken up when i listened to it and i did not know my volume was up so the song defiantly gave me a wake up call. I started laughing and ended up spitting out my water. I am not certain you were on the recording but it sounded like you on a lot of parts. I can completely imagine this playing in class like the Euphrates/Egypt song.

Greek Architecture

This is the temple of Hera the Greek goddess of marriage and queen of the gods in Olympia . It was built in 590 and is believed to have been built with wood and replaced with stone later. The temple has 16 columns and  was destroyed by an earthquake in the fourth century.  This is a sculpture of Athene in the Parthenon. You can tell it is her by her shield with a snake on it and an owl at her side. She is the patron Goddess of Athens and the Parthenon was partially built to honor her. It was mainly built to establish Athenians and Greeks s great architects and built them a reputation for that  during the beautification of Athens.
