South America had llamas the other 13 were from other places like Asia and Europe
Middle east - best livestock/ plants (fertile crescent) GEOGRAPHICALLY BLESSED/LUCKY
people had time to develop houses, plaster to keep out water, window- air condition, standing for 9000 yrs.
Division of labor- jobs people learned to do
control of fire- 1st step to steel
