Plato video


  1. Plato defined The forms as ideal versions of the things and concepts we see around us. They were to serve as instruction manuals to our world. 
  2. The three groups in Plato's ideal society were: producers, Military, and rulers.
  3. Plato's ideas on women very fickle. One tie he said they equally able to rule in his ideal noble city, but other times he has said that they were like children and their wombs were live animals that would wounder around in their bodies causing illnesses. Sadly this was a big part in European medicine for many of years. 
  4. Plato proposed a noble lie that we are all born with gold, silver, or a mixture of brass and iron in our souls that determine our roles in life.

Rome song

Today we listen to a educational parody about Rome. It was really funny and not what i had expected. I had just woken up when i listened to it and i did not know my volume was up so the song defiantly gave me a wake up call. I started laughing and ended up spitting out my water. I am not certain you were on the recording but it sounded like you on a lot of parts. I can completely imagine this playing in class like the Euphrates/Egypt song.

Greek Architecture

This is the temple of Hera the Greek goddess of marriage and queen of the gods in Olympia . It was built in 590 and is believed to have been built with wood and replaced with stone later. The temple has 16 columns and  was destroyed by an earthquake in the fourth century.  This is a sculpture of Athene in the Parthenon. You can tell it is her by her shield with a snake on it and an owl at her side. She is the patron Goddess of Athens and the Parthenon was partially built to honor her. It was mainly built to establish Athenians and Greeks s great architects and built them a reputation for that  during the beautification of Athens.
