The Greek versions of the Patricians would be the Philosophers and royalty of Greece bc. they were more educated and most were wealthier then the average Greek citizen. Plato video

Plato defined The forms as ideal versions of the things and concepts we see around us. They were to serve as instruction manuals to our world.  The three groups in Plato's ideal society were: producers, Military, and rulers. Plato's ideas on women very fickle. One tie he said they equally able to rule in his ideal noble city, but other times he has said that they were like children and their wombs were live animals that would wounder around in their bodies causing illnesses. Sadly this was a big part in European medicine for many of years.  Plato proposed a noble lie that we are all born with gold, silver, or a mixture of brass and iron in our souls that determine our roles in life.

This is the temple of Hera the Greek goddess of marriage and queen of the gods in Olympia . It was built in 590 and is believed to have been built with wood and replaced with stone later. The temple has 16 columns and  was destroyed by an earthquake in the fourth century.  This is a sculpture of Athene in the Parthenon. You can tell it is her by her shield with a snake on it and an owl at her side. She is the patron Goddess of Athens and the Parthenon was partially built to honor her. It was mainly built to establish Athenians and Greeks s great architects and built them a reputation for that  during the beautification of Athens.

Dramas

The two kinds of Dramas were a tragedy and a comedy. A tragedy was a serious play about with themes like love, hate, war, or betrayal. They had featured a main character, or tragic hero who was an important person and often gifted with extraordinary abilities, but also a weakness. Their weakness was a tragic flaw and it normally caused the hero’s downfall. Most of the tie the flaw was hubris, or excessive pride. The other type of drama was a comedy, and a comedy is a play with scenes filled with clumsy, or embarrassing situations and crude humor. Playwrights made fun of politics, important people, and popular ideas or subjects during the present time.  I was in a play during middle school and like Greek plays we had colorful costumes, masks, and sets made by students, teachers, and adult volunteers. Wealthy citizens took on the cost of producing the plays, but in my play our non extremely wealthy drama teacher produced they play. Unlike in Greece we had the same teacher put on the p
